A BIG thank you to American Athlete for hosting a fantastic block party in Greenlake last Saturday. We joined a collaboration of health and fitness professionals that came together to celebrate, bring community awareness and networking to our small piece of home in Seattle. A few vendors and goodies included free toothbrushes provided by the new Beiderman Dentistry, product samples and natural hair removal demonstrations by Sugar Sugar, smoothie samples from our newest summer fav Roebucks and of course American Athlete provided Les Mills classes and Zumba in the street for all to partake in. We had a great time, and look forward to continuing to have presence in the community and supporting our neighbors health goals. - July 4, 2011
This afternoon I had the lovely oppertunity to work among a team of local therapists to provide chair massage to the first year residents at Children's Hospital in Sandpoint. Children's Hospital is one of my favorite causes in the area that I love to support. After working 60-80 hour work weeks and up to 32 hour shifts with intense nights trying to save lifes this group was sure appreciative to get 15 minutes of healing touch in their lives. Thanks to the amazing staff and volunteers that made this possible!- March 24, 2011
Another year having a blast volunteering at the first triathalon of the year Rainman, hosted by Trifreaks Multisport. This was a fun, but long 10 hr day supporting and massaging hundreds of athletes after this 15 min intense lap swim, 30 minute bike ride and 2.97 mile run in the fresh cold, but thank goodness not rainy weather. Thanks to Trifreaks for inviting us and Active Wellness for joining us in postural assesments. March 20, 2011
We’ll for the last two Fridays we’ve put in long days providing chair massage to the employees for Symetra for the second year in a row! Symetra, a financial services organization, adopts over 50 families every year and Tolle Totum is happy to support them with 50% of our proceeds. Thanks to all the employees that participated!- December 3, 2010
We were just at the Federal Escape Triathlon providing free chair massage to participants and gift certificates to those lucky top finishers in each category. It was great to see all the awesome athletes swim, bike and run their way to success, and I even got to Emcee about ½ the event! Watching some of the Pro’s working to go to the Olympics 2012, like local microsoftie Chris Tremonte, really pumps you and I can’t wait to finish my Iron Man in 2012 now! Thanks TriFreaks for putting on such an amazing event- we’re looking forward to next time.- July 31, 2010
